Microwave on medium level power for 1 minute and repeat in 30 seconds intervals then put the lid on the container. After 2 minutes or after steaming hot and noodles are soft take the container out of the microwave and give it a good stir and the noodles are ready to eat.

What Is The Best Way for Preparing Cup Noodles?

So with all of these issues regarding microwaving a cup of noodles, you are left wondering what is the best way to cook your cup noodles.

Cup noodles are one of the simplest noodle dishes to cook. Here’s the best way to cook cup noodles.

  1. First, heat up some water until it is boiled. You can boil water in a pot, kettle, or you can also boil the water in a microwave using a microwave-safe container if you want.
  2. Tear half the lid off of the cup and take out the flavor packet that consists of seasoning and oil.
  3. Pour the hot water into the cup noodle until the water reaches the cup fill line.
  4. Close the lid and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. After two minutes, the noodles should be cooked. Pour the seasoning and oil into the cup and enjoy!

Note: Noodles may feel harder when they are first made, but they will soften after about a minute or so.

Adding Vegetables and Egg to Cup Noodles

Thinly sliced roasted chicken goes nicely with any type of instant noodles and ramens. Just roast a piece of chicken and add your noodles just before serving.

3. Sauteed Mushrooms and Ginger

Saute some sliced mushrooms and fresh chopped ginger in a little bit of olive oil and mix it all in with your noodles. This is my wife’s favorite flavor and it goes great with chili flakes as well.

4.  Load It Up With Cheese

Cut up some cheese into thin slices and add it to the hot noodles and team it up with garlic mayo or tandoori mayo sauce. This is one great way to indulge in the creamy cheesy goodness!

5. Boil It in Broth

Boil the cup noodles in chicken or beef broth instead of water and team it up with some garlic sauteed in olive oil and Italian herbs such as basil for a beautiful and rich-tasting meal.

6. Add Soy Sauce

9. Veggies in A Blanket

Cut up a small head of cauliflower into florets, along with carrots that have been cut into thin sticks. Boil them in a little bit of chicken broth and then dip them into your favorite flavor cup noodle as it cooks in the microwave to keep things healthy!

Are Cup Noodles Bad for You, or Good?

In moderation, cup noodles won’t cause any negative health effects. However, since they are low in calories, fiber, and protein and notorious for being high in fat, carbohydrates, and sodium, this means that these instant noodles won’t provide you with the essential nutrients your body needs.

What’s more, frequent consumptions of cup noodles is linked to a higher risk of metabolic syndrome. Obesity, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and high cholesterol are all conditions linked to metabolic syndrome.

To make it even worse, instant noodles are comprised entirely of chemical ingredients and you may not even want to look at the long list of chemicals that go into making these instant meals. It contains chemicals such as, but not limited to, Sodium Benzoate (such as in Soft Drinks), Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) (as an artificial flavor enhancer), and Acrylamide. This will no doubt cause health complications on your body if consumed in excess.
